CarePaw

Privacy Policy

Working draft — to be finalised before public launch.

Overview

CarePaw connects veterinary clinics and pet owners around a shared pet medical record. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have. CarePaw is committed to protecting your personal data in line with applicable data-protection law.

Information we collect

From pet owners: name, mobile number, email, and your pets' details and medical records. From clinic staff: name, role, and clinic contact details. From partner applications: clinic and contact information you provide. We also collect basic usage and device information to operate the service.

How we use information

To provide the medical record, send care reminders, enable lost-pet recovery, process platform fees, and support and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.

Sharing of information

A pet's medical record is shared between the owner and their clinic. Sharing a record with another clinic requires the owner's explicit consent. Service providers (such as payment and messaging providers) process data only as needed to run CarePaw.

The lost-pet public profile

If you enable Lost Mode for a pet's QR tag, certain information you choose is shown to anyone who scans the tag. You control exactly what is revealed, and you can disable it at any time.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@carepaw.app.
